I’ve never seen, truly seen, a full moon uncluttered by city lights and stray clouds.
Tonight as we stepped out our front door, my husband reached to turn on the lights. I put my hand on his sleeve, and stopped him. There was no need for artificial lights. The sky was beautifully odd, resplendent. It was neither day nor night, but closer to dusk. In fact, it was midnight.
I strongly recommend a full moon on a clear night. It is astonishingly beautiful.
