My husband and I shared a collective sigh of relief.
We found a bargaining chip to use with our high-spirited 4-year-old son. It arrived on Christmas Eve and put our son on notice. This little red convertible Mustang leveled the playing field.
Prior to this fortunate acquisition, there was very little we could hold up against our son to persuade him to see things our way. Now, the appetizing possibility of a ride on the Mustang is the only incentive our son needs to practice writing his name or learning his numbers.
Despite the reckless driving (followed by a maniacal laughter), many thanks are due to Power Wheels and Santa.
Things in our home are running smoothly again.
